Wow... very sobering information here. None of us want to end up in a nursing home. The human trafficking data is scary. Thanks for sharing this because I honestly dont think people have any idea. 😳

This has been an ongoing problem in the nursing home industry for some time. Understaffing, unlicensed staffing, ridiculous patient to nurse (if there is one) ratio.

Worse has been the vulture private equity firms buying functioning hospitals usually in the least affluent parts of a city. Reducing staff (doctors, nurses, ancillary staff) to the minimum, reaping the profits, declaring them bankrupt. Leaving communities with little to no services.

And are blatant about it. If no laws are passed to prevent their ravaging health systems we’re all going to feel the loss of these services and life saving institutions.
